No More SCARY Pink

Well, my scary pink room is now gone. We now lovingly refer to it as the Republican Room, and the reason you ask, the color. Three walls are painted elephant skin gray and the fourth is darkest purple. I love it!!
This paint think has always been scary for me, for years I stayed with white walls adding color other ways but not anymore. I love colored walls, bring on the paint Home Depot I'm not afraid anymore.

  1. A pink room would make my oldest grandaughter the happiest girl in the world! I completly understand why you didn't want it though. I once lived in a pink apartment building. It was pink outside and in. No kidding. Wasn't in the high rent district if you know what I mean! There were lots of good times there so the color wasn't much of an issue. Old pinky was what we referred to it as. I hadn't thought about that old building in years. Next time I go home I'll have to go see if it is still there.

  2. I have lived with white walls in my room for ten years and I would always have to find other ways to try to add color. Since we lived in a rented house, we weren’t allowed to paint the walls. I got so sick and tired of having white walls! When my family moved into a new home that we built, my parents asked what I would like to do with my room and I didn’t hesitate to say that I wanted to have my walls painted! Some people might think that the colors are kind of bright, but I love them! They are definitely a lot better than white walls!

  3. I like the colors you chose! I never would have thought of that, but I bet it looks nice! I've always had white walls in my room, but when I moved out I was painting fool! Over the past year we've remodeled the bathroom, and I painted that turqouise; the colors in there are brown, green, and turqouise. Then we redid the living. We bought new brown leather couch and recliner, and I painted three walls like a cream color and the back wall a burnt orange. I'm ready to tackle the bedroom next; painting is addicting. I love it! If you get around to it you should post some pictures.
